No. The Travel Genie is a basic handset and would not support roaming in 3G networks. It would also not support roaming in Japan, Canada and South Korea.

Press 'RESET' button for 3 seconds, device will be restored to factory settings.

The IP address conflict after Tri-Fi connection: Please ensure the same IP devices are not in the LAN.
After changing the security type (such as from WPA-PSK to WPA2-PSK ), computer with WINDOWS 7 system cannot connect to Tri-Fi: Please select the correct type of security in the Wireless Network properties.

If in 3G state, Tri-Fi is connected but cannot access the internet:

After switching to 3G state, check whether Data Indicator Light is flashing or not. Please ensure you have connected your device to the Tri-Fi

If Yes, please access the Tri-Fi setting page by opening your browser and typing 192.168.43.1
Username and Password is admin by default.
Click on Settings > Basic > WAN

Change Config mode to Manual
Dial Number = *99#
APN = mobiledata

Leave all other fields blank, click on Apply,
Tri-Fi will restart.

If the Tri-Fi does not work, try the following methods:

Please make sure you have switched the Tri-Fi to the correct mode/state
Ensure the APN settings are correctly configured. Refer to the Set Up APN in 3G Mode question on how to do this.
Make sure you have sufficient balance in your SIM.
Restart the Tri-Fi.
Restore to Factory Settings.
If Battery power is low, please fully charge then turn on.

Yes, you can use both features simulataneously, however the powerbank output will be lesser meaning it will take longer to charge your device.

Please make sure you are using the Output USB port to charge other devices, the input port is used for charging the Tri-Fi

Log into your account online at www.worldsim.com
When the 'My Account' Home Page appears, your available balance will be displayed next to your phone number.

Please follow the installation guide below to install your purchased product:

  • Connect your USB Dongle with your computer, the application will launch automatically
  • Select Setup.exe (the setup file) and complete the installation.
  • Now, the new APN settings needs to be set before connecting to the internet
  • Click on the Settings button (4th button on the Top Hand Navigation), and select Connection Settings
  • Click the Add button
  • Fill the following details in the new opened window:
    • Config. Filename = WorldSIM1
    • Dial Number = *99#
    • Click to Uncheck, “Obtain APN address automatically”
    • Type in ‘mobiledata’ inthe APN field 
    • Leave the Username and Password fields blank
    • Click the OK button, the APN has now been set
  • Select the saved WorldSIM1 APN setting and set it as the default profile
  • Select the Network Settingsbutton
  • Select the Manual option under Network selection
  • Select the 3G only option under Mode preference
  • Click the Apply button
  • Restart your computer and start using the USB dongle by Clicking the Connect button

  • Under the Network display on the home page click on Profile Management > New Profile
  • Profile name = WorldSIM
  • APN = mobiledata
  • Leave username and password blank and click save.

Select Mobile connection under Dial-up and please check if the Data Roaming is Enabled. It should be Enabled. Press OK if any messages appear.

After inserting the WorldSIM data SIM and connecting your ALCATEL modem to your device, open a browser and access the web management page via http://192.168.1.1
the default password is admin.

Leave username, password and protocol field blank and click save and set as default.
Please enable automatic roaming under Settings > Connection Mode.

If you insert a SIM card, the watch can be used as a standalone smartphone on your wrist, it will allow you to make calls, receive and send SMS and browse the Internet.
